Thermal. Underwear.

Shit is so expensive now-a-days. And i'm not just talking about random stuff we want, i'm talking about necessities like food and gas. I really wonder how i still have running water and electricity in my place. Somehow, by the hairs on my chiney chin chin, i'm able to make my bills every month. I don't get how things become more expensive when people have less money. Luckily, i eat a lot which causes me to go grocery shopping a lot which in turn has lead to me finding a lot of good and healthy food for cheap. I figure that some of you guys may also be low on dineros so might wanna know this. I mostly just buy food from three places, Trader Joe's, Albertson's, and 7-11.

Trader Joe's -

cereal - Joe's O's $1.89

Flax Plus, Hemp Plus $2.30

mac and cheese - Wisconsin Cheddar 99 cents

White Cheddar $1.29

Soup - They have a lot of flavors of healthy soup. My favorite is the Tomato Red Pepper soup which goes for $2.30 One carton has around 4 bowls worth in it.

bread - Shepherd's bread A lil' under $2.00

Fruit - Organic Banana 19 cents each

If your into indian food TJ's has a good variety of indian food that only requires you to heat the packet in boiling water. I'm hooked on them and they're all for under $2.50. There's also the shrimp fried rice which just needs to be heated up in a pan. My dad's a big fan and it's not that pricey. You can also get large gourmet pizza's for $3.00 - $5.oo. These are big, really fancy and tasty pizza's that just need to be put in the oven for 10 minutes.

Albertsons -

Bread - Everyday at 4 p.m. they put out fresh baked bread. A big loaf costs between $2.00-$2.50.

In the deli section, usually right next to the bakery you can find Don Miguel's Chimichanga's which are $1.50 each. I've only had the bean and cheese flavor which is really good but i've heard the other flavors aren't. They also have a great deal on Top Ramen, 5 for $1.00

7 -11 -

Cookies - 3 for a $1.00. They're pretty good. The only place with better (way better) cookies for the same price is Diddy Riese http://www.diddyriese.com/home.php in Bruin Village (Westwood, Ca for you out-of-towner's).
