In Stevie We Trust.

Well, i finally got my State i.d. made at the ripe, old age of 20. It took about 4 and a half hours at the Court House and the DMV, but in the end i got it. Now i just have to wait a couple weeks for it to come in the mail. What sucks is that it's gonna read 'Hamaza Khan' on my i.d. Apparently the person that typed my birth certificate can't read or spell and my parents didnt think to get it spelled the right way.

Anyways, the homie Ermin's informed me that Tommy the Green ranger won his first MMA fight. Also, If your a fan of BJ's Pizza and live in the West Los Angeles area, the Culver City BJ's at Fox Hills Mall serves $5 mini pizzas and half off on appetizers after 11 pm. I dunno if this happens at other BJ's.

Uncle Phil from 'Fresh of Bell Air' is back on t.v. in this commercial for Kaplan University. The monologue is pretty good so give it a watch.
I'm pretty sure you've also seen this Chivas Regal 18 commercial but here's the minute long version that hasn't been aired on television. At least i haven't seen it on t.v. yet.

The first light after a storm.

The sun's finally out. I woke up this morning and was super stoked to see sun light from under neath my blinds. I got up and just stood underneath the sun for a little while. It sounds kinda retarded but feels super good, so give it a try. While taking in the sun's warmth it hit me that this may not last for too long and in case it starts raining again i should put up a new post. Let's keep the suicide rate down. Shout out to Mr. ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!

"Rain drops keep fallin' on my head..."

You know you live in southern Cali when it's raining really hard and folks are carrying umbrella's with shorts and skirts. The weather lady said it's supposed to rain hard for the next couple of days. She's usually wrong but in case she's not, here somethin' to listen too while your stuck indoors.

I saw both these guys perform on Saturday night. They put on a great show so make sure to see 'em live.
Intuition - He's from the North Pole, Alaska. And no, he's not a rapping Santa. Seriously though, every track up on his myspace will have you bobbing your head.

Verbs - Local boy form Culver City. Simply put, it's really catchy, feel good music.

"Harry said: 'You're an idiot. Move on."


Well, i think it's almost been a full month since i've posted something new on the blog. If any of you were waiting for it then i'm sorry about the lag. Don't even know if it was 'cause of procrastinating - this winter break just made me super lazy. The good news is that over this past week i've slowly been getting back to full speed so there'll be new post more frequently. Again, big ups to all the people that support the blog.

Dunno if lots of people know or not, but the original 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' is on t.v. again. It's being aired saturday on ABC 7's morning cartoons. What's really cool is that they've kinda sorta updated the series with comic book themed graphics and new 'special' effects. It brings back so many memories and it's funny cause i actually remembered the entire first episode. I would wake up early on Saturdays to watch Baywatch and then MMPR right after on Fox Kids. Watching this bit of history again got me wondering what's become of the original cast. I figured you folks might want to know too, so here's an update on the original cast.

Jason - Red Ranger - He's not a tranny like i heard but a paramedic in D.C.
Trini - Yellow Ranger - she passed away in a car accident in 2001. RIP
Billy - Blue Ranger - producer, though he hasn't been very successful at it.
Zack - Black Ranger - he's done some minor acting and voice over work since the show and is salsa dancing champion. http://www.walteremanueljones.com/
Kimberly - Pink Ranger - very successful actress in Canada.
Tommy - Green Ranger - Apparently he created his own martial art and is now an MMA fighter.
