I thought of a few clever titles for this post but now i forgot them.

Dunno why but lately i've been so resilient to putting the time in to put up another post. To be honest, i'm kinda forcing myself to do so right now. Dont get me wrong, i havent lost my desire to blog but sometimes it just takes too long. Anyways, i hope you folks have been well and are enjoying this weather. And to everyone dealing with midterms or finals, Good Luck!!!
Almost three weeks ago i had the privilege to meet Jaleel White aka Steve Urkel. He came into my work and as he was leaving i got the opportunity to talk to him. He was really nice and humble. I did an Urkel impersonation and he laughed a whole bunch. Bragging rights. Not everyone can say they made Steve Urkel laugh. It turns out that his career hasnt fizzled out, he just works behind the camera as a producer.
Big up's to the homie Tenny for getting me a ticket to the Black Rebel Motorcylce Club on sunday at the Echoplex. It was the best live show i've been to. They couldnt have had a better concert. Everything form the crowd to the venue to the music was momentous. Especially the music. Now-a-day's the music that comes out is so heavily sampled you kinda forget what it's like to hear live instruments being played. I can't wait to see them live again. Do yourselves a favor and the next chance you get, go and see them live. And take me with you.

Ever Ready Records - That Old Gang of Mine - I've done a post on this before but i found some of their tracks's on youtube. They're worth a repost.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Here's some footage from the concert. They've just released a new album, 'Beat the Devil's Tatoo'. It's good to know real Rock n' Roll is still alive.

Mustard Pimp - electro duo from France, i think, that will literally KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF. They just got signed to Dim Mak and will be at Fresh Anniversary on April 3rd. I love stumbling upon stuff like this.

Things i do leave me itchin' my head with a raised eyebrow...Oh Bother...

i hate when i procrastinate for a couple of months and then finally when i do what i need to, it turns out to be super simple and cheap. oh and it happens in a matter of seconds. Old habits die hard.......
This is some stuff that i think you'll find interesting and worth while. and funny. or maybe you wont. but 'eh, fugh it.

'How To Make it in America' - a new HBO show about the grind to make it to the big time. What's kool is that it concentrates on the journey to the top rather than the final destination itself. The cinematography is in between 'Cloverfield' and any other Hollywood production which gives it a very 'real', relateable feel. Kid Cudi's also in it. He's a pretty decent actor.

'The Buried Life' - Mtv realized it needed to make amends for Jersey Shore and believe it or not, for the first time in a long time have something really worth watching. The shows about 4 friends (from Canada) who travel around North America crossing things of there bucket list. For everything they cross off they help a random stranger out. Good television. Very empowering.
and this is where you can watch all the episodes

Lopez tonight - Some hilarious skits the show.

The 3rd time's a charm.

Here's another apology for super lagging it on a new post. Seriously, i'm gonna stop all this procrastinating from today. It's starting to leave a really bad after taste in my mouth. From now on if i go more then 3 days with out posting anything then call me out on it. I really want this blog to grow and the only way it will is if i post more frequently. This is the third time i've sat down to put up this post.
I finally got a job. I work at Pinkberry now so yeah, i get my swirl on. It's boring but easy and i'm super grateful to be looking forward to a paycheck after such a long time. I kinda wish i liked frozen yogurt but i dont so i'm not to hyped about working there. But the toppings are really good.
Also, i went to a kick ass party the saturday before last at the Jazz Club in Downtown Lost Angels. It's called 'The Fly Ball' and it happens every third saturday of the month. It was super koooliooo. Three stages, one outdoor, one upstairs and one downstairs. There's literally something for everyone. Downstairs had this old school disco theme going on. The DJ was spinning old school classics and top 4o hits. Upstairs there was an art gallery with live bands performing and Dj's spinning vinyls and ambient/new wave tracks. Outside was just epic. DK and i were outside pretty much the entire night. The Dj's were spinning vinyls the entire night and folks were just dancing nuttsers. I've never seen people dance so well in my life. And they weren't even professionals. They were just common folk. And the girls there were super muy buena pretty. It was a great party with a super kool/laid back/fun vibe. The next one's on the 20th. Big up's to Baji for hooking it up.

Jack Beats - These guys are the only Djing duo that come close to Daft Punk's magnificence. Fughhhhhhh there sooooooo gooooooood.
Florence & The Machine - Drumming Song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fe2fcr1gay0
La Roux - Im Not Your Your Toy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlGuZbwls9k
Drop The Pressure (Rinsed Out Rave rmx) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-ysPGGoUsQ
If you love yourself then download their essential mix from there myspace page. It is FUGGGHHHING EPIC. Shout out to my boy DKALLDAYEVERYDAY for sharing it with me.

(the) Gorillaz - are back. Finally. They're headlining the third day of Coachella. The new album 'Plastic Beach' drops on the 9th. Here's a little preview.
