Slowly and Surely

Yo. Had a really/kinda pretty bueno bueno weekend. Easily one of the better weekends this summer. Came up on a whole bunch of stuff that i've been really wanting/needing for years now. The best part of this was that i got it all for free. On Saturday i went on a super epic bike ride from Culver City to Melrose with !Shareef! bhaya. If you havent been on a super-epic bike ride yet, you should really, really, get on it. The sun mixed with the onshore winds make it proper good biking weather. And then yesterday i ended the weekend with some Diddy Reese. Oh my Wowawoowah.
It feels really, really awesome and up lifting when life gives you exactly what you want. It brings about this calm and a sense of perfection. As if you know for sure that you're right where you need to be at that moment i time. Like when you're cold and you drink some hot chocolate and then your taste buds clap while the interior of your stomach gets warm and you feel exactly the way you wanted/needed to.
Gotta give credit where it's due so shout out to Zahra Khala, Uncle Mark, Siraze, DK, Abuela, Yamaj, Bhaji, Shorty, Rezzy, Asaad, Shareef Bhaya, Will, Omair, Zaki, Biggs, Rayan-a and most of all the Man upstairs. A mas grande 'i miss you' to my parents, sister, Bakir and Lamija.
My bad for not posting the links on Scott Bourne yet. Scott has some really interesting perspectives on modern society and life. While i find his opinions intriguing and 'outside the box', they in no way represent my own personal beliefs.

Tonight i came up on an amazing DJ that goes by Emancipator. I havent done an 'artist feature' in awhile but this guy deserves special recognition. He mixes hip hop, jazz, ambient and classical music to create music that i have no idea how to describe. If "serenity" took shape as sound it would sound like Emancipator.
