"Miiiiddle Adem, Miiiiiddle!"

You folks have prolly figured this out, but I really have no idea what to type here. I really just type to give the blog some flavor, keep it from being bland. I try my best to make it interesting but i have no idea what people would enjoy reading here. My idea of interesting isn't always on par with what other folks might find interesting. Anyways, Halloween just passed. It's kinda funny, being Muslim i don't celebrate Christmas so Oct. 31st is the most festive day of the year in L.A. for me. The city really, really, comes alive. House parties, clubs, events and of course trick or treating. It's awesome. My Halloween was pretty odd, but awesome none the less. I went trick 'r treating with some kids and two of the Ninja Turtles. Then i morphed into a Demon Chicken. I watched the Turtles battle each other. After that i hung out with a stray cat for an hour. Then it got really hazy. I lost my clapper gun. I looked for my clapper gun but didnt find it. I kicked it with Mathew McConaughey. My friends and i went to an empty backyard and i danced to no music.
I met up with Matthew again.We ran into Jason at an In N Out. He tried to kill Matt.
Matt and i kicked it at a park. Then we ran into two sombrero wearing cowboys outside
of a 7-11 in Newport Beach and gave them a ride home. I got home at 3:30 am and didnt
even get in trouble the next morning. I cant wait till next Halloween.

J. Cole - From North Carolina by way of Germany. He went to university in NY to pursue music. Signed to
Jay Z's Roc Nation label. He is the next BIG THING in hip hop.

Ac Slater - producer/DJ outta Brooklyn. He incorporate a lot of different genres into his songs. I saw him
spin at Danceism this august. He mixed dub step into old school hip hop. It was pretty epic.

"So, what do you think is fair?"

My cousin and i were talking about the Great City of Culver City. If your not a local, C.C. seems like a quiet suburban-esque town in the West L.A. You can't really blame them. We have like one of everything; mall, trophy shop, hardware store, etc. And up until a couple years ago we only had one theater. Funny thing is, Culver City's the farthest thing from a quiet, suburban town. There's so much going on in this little God-forsaken bubble that's east of Venice. We have a bit of everything. Crime, gangs, drama, drugs. It's a trip. There a few gangs here and all it takes is 15 minutes to get form one side of town to the other. Plus, you got all these tagger kids runnin' around, half of them being stupid lil hipster kids. The police make a big fucking deal outta everything. Pretty soon they'll be handing out tickets for breathing. And there are so many fucking pointless rules here. You can't do this, you can't do that...and that...or this... not to mention that...and did i mention this...The lives of the locals here can play out like a daytime soap opera. Just looking at the folks that i went to C. C. High with, some have dropped outta school, few are behind bars, and one (RIP) has passed away. Others have gotten married, 3 or 4 have babies, and even more individuals that are just suck on the block. There's still alot many folks that are progressing in life and/or doing it big. Even with all this, i figure the most surprising thing about C.C. is the abundance of drugs here. Especially marijuana. Weed. Mary Jane. Doe-dee. The devil's lettuce. Budd. Whatever strand you heart desires, it's here. Budd is to Culver City as snow is to the North Pole. Everyone in C.C. smokes, including the elderly. And almost everyone here has dealt at some point in time. You'd have a harder time tryna not find weed, then finding it. Bottom line is, is that this is a great place, with loads of culture and diversity, and best of all some really fucking-great people.

Shaped Like A Gun - Grunge/Alternative band out of Downtown L.A. They've got a sound that's pretty different from what's out now-a-days.

Ludovico Einaudi - Old man from Turino, Italy. He composes contemporary classical music and is a pianist. In my opinion, he's an absolute genius. Check out the links below and you'll know why.

That new house - closet smell never gets old.

So it's been a mucho long tiempo since i've updated this beloved blog of mine. Actually it's really not mine, it's more yours then mine. But anyways, i've been m.i.a. cause i just moved into my own place, and pops just moved back to Pakiland. The past two weeks have been kinda sorta hectic but now everything's starting to fall in place. I miss my pops proper tons. But he's a lot happier back east so it's all good. It's fun living by myself. It's like i'm Simba with my own Pride Rock. I do find myself doing a lot of random things to keep busy, but the quiet and even the loneliness have this great aesthetic about them. It's like eeriness and peace of mind blended together. Dunno how to explain it. I like it though. It's like i can hear all the thoughts floating in my head and steer them in the direction i choose.

It has a kitchen but no stove.

I've finally, almost completely fixed my sleep pattern. It's a relief. I missed the morning a lot, and i'm happy i can enjoy it before it becomes super cold again. It's a trip that it's this hot in mid - September, though i'm not complaining. It'd be cool if it stays hot for another month or two so i can get a chance top surf not-freezing water. I kinda get this feeling that all this heat and irregular weather pattern is due to global warming, which isn't good at all. So recycle and be eco-conscious.

Real World 24???

This is prolly the last post of Ramadan. Hahaha this blog just experienced it's first Ramadan. It went by fast, and it was fun. Dunno why but these last couple days have given me a hard time. Well actually i know why. I'm still trying to get my sleep schedule back on track, but 3 months of bad sleeping habits doesnt get fixed in 3 nights. Anyways, i couldve done better this month but, heck, why live tomorrow if you have nothing to improve on from today?

i say the right things, but act the wrong way. And it's not hard to explain.

Ramadan's almost over. Another week left, and it's back to the regular schedule. No lie, sometimes it feels like it comes to soon, but i t always feels like it leaves to early. Dunno why, but i do know why, during this month everything just slows down and becomes so laidback and relaxed. The peace-of-mind that comes with this Ramadan can't be replicated during any other time of the year. it's like it's exclusive to this month. Masha'Allah.
