The latest edition to TLB is by Dj ArsenalFX. Origianlly from France, he's been spinning at some of L.A.'s top club's, so you may have happened to see him performing live.
The latest TLB mix is a collab between The Hood Internet and Deluxe Magazine, "The Great American Mixtape: Side A'. Here's the complete track list:
Lacey IQ's mix, 'L.A. Love Jack' is the latest edition to TLB. She's originally from Dallas but resides in L.A. You can catch her spinning at The Fly Ball tonight (click on the flyer in the 'Events' part of the blog on the right). For more of her music http://soundcloud.com/lacey_iq.
The latest mix in TLB is by Bachelors of Science. They're a British DnB duo based out of Frisco. They have a unique sound in that they use a lot of trancier samples. For more visit http://www.bachelorsofscience.com/.
So day before yesterday i put up a new mix in the TLB. This one is by Fabricio Pecanha from Brazil. This mix is a lil different cause it's more of an alternative/indie mix with some electronic influence. I havent heard many mixes like this before. For more http://www.myspace.com/fabriciopecanha.
I'm adding a new feature to the blog, called 'The Laundry Bin'. If for whatever odd reason you haven't noticed it yet, it's on the right corner of the home page. I'll be posting mixes from local and lesser known DJ's in TLB. The mixes will be of various genres but mostly electronic. Some of the mixes will be exclusive to this blog. I'm not sure how often i'll be putting up a new mix since that depends on the DJ's i'm gonna be working with. I'm also gonna add the tag 'laundry' to every TLB post so that it's easier for anyone to find older mixes.
